With the advancement of information technology, many organizations are gearing up for Information Technology platforms for supporting the business functions, workflows and processes, buy/sell transactions, procurement functions, account and finance functions and contract management in general. As such, Contract Managers will need to learn to utilize the interfaces and programs required for using such IT platforms. Knowledge and skills in IT processes is a must for Contract Managers working within the function of contract management and they should better be competent in using IT processes within their organizations. In other words, IT and contract management are two collateral processes in today’s businesses.
